We are delighted to welcome you to the 157th Mark Benevolent Fund Festival, held in the Province of Oxfordshire over the weekend
of Friday 18th, Saturday 19th July 2025.
Our Festival will celebrate the pivotal role of Oxford and Oxfordshire in the development and ideals of Freemasonry. Our Banquet will be held in
the Examination Schools, the heart of the University which for 800 years has, like Freemasonry, been dedicated to the improvement of humankind through knowledge. During the day, you will
have the chance to take a tour of the City and University and learn how Oxford men like Elias Ashmole and later Canon Portal have shaped Freemasonry. For those arriving on Friday, we will
host a welcome reception at The Oxford Union, the debating society where young politicians (and Freemasons) from across geographical and political divides have cut
their teeth over many generations.
