Transport

The Oxford Union Society, Frewin Court, Oxford OX1 3JB

Examination Schools, 75-81 The High Street, Oxford, OX1 4BG

Oxford has excellent public transport, but is not car friendly! Guests are advised either to travel to Oxford by public transport, use the Park and Ride or leave cars at their hotel if there is parking.

We are not arranging coach transport from the venue to the hotels because the hotels are very spread out and to do so would be prohibitively expensive.

For those driving we recommend leaving your car at Thornhill Park and Ride. Alternatively, there are several car parks. The nearest one is St Clements.

Buses run from there directly to the Examination Schools, on the High Street just outside the Examination Schools (Queen's Lane stop), with the last bus back to the Park and Ride departing around midnight.

Train – Oxford railway station is approximately a 20 minute walk away or 10 minutes by taxi.

Travel from London: The easiest and quickest way to travel from London is to take the bus. The Oxford Tube runs at least every 15 minutes from immediately opposite the Examination Schools.

For those travelling from other hotels, we suggest taking a bus if possible.
